The cottage is locaded 843 meters above sea level in a quiet location at the bottom of the Hahnenkamm, the well-known mountain in Kitzbühel, 400 meters away from the Hahnenkamm cable car , 500m from old centre of town and the indoor pool „Aquarena“ with 2 different pools, 2 water slides, red light cabin, tanning booth and sauna. Next to the house you will find Footpahts leading to the Schwarzsee, the Gieringer Weiher and upt to the Hahnenkamm passing by the Einsiedelei and the Seidlalm. You can also walk on to the Ehrenbachhöhe and onwards to the Pengelstein. In Winter the skirun Asten leads directly to the house. The legendary Streif run nr. 21 ends approximately 80 meters away. The ski school „Red Devils“ and the beginners slopes are in a short walking distance, the downhill station of the Hahnenkamm cable car can be reached by ski (about 300m).
Also the cross-country slope towards Aurach and Jochberg is only 300 meters away.

Kitzbühel
is an old small town in the middle of the Kitzbüheler Alpen.
Distances:Innsbruck (90km) Salzburg (80km) München (120km).
It has got abaut 8000 inhabitants. 800-2000m above sea level. In summer it's a real meeting point for gulf-players as there are 4 places right here and 19 more in the surroundings. For swimmers there are a bigger and a smaller lake (Schwarzsee and Gieringer Weiher) and the well equipped indoor swimming area Aquarena, 300km of hiking trails, approx. 750km of bicykle and mountainbike routes, in-and autdoor tennis courts are on your disposal. Winter : The ski area Kitzbühel, provides approx.145km slopes, Snowboarder Funpark, 50km cross-country slopes, 65km winterhiking trails, ski schools, indoor Curling and skating area.
