General Information Holiday Apartment  for 2 to 4 people in Haus Sissi in Kitzbbuehl.
The entrance to the apartment is through its own entrance directly from  the car park. The apartment has a living room with integral  kitchen ( electric hob with 4 cooking plates, oven-micro-wave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge, dishwashing machine and sink), one bedroom with double  bed, integral bathroom and balcony and another bedroom with double bed, a second bathroom with a washingmachine and tumbler drier. From the living room French windows lead to a terrace with a garden table and chairs. Satellite tv and radio with CD player. Diashow  Click on Diashow to see pictures of the apartment.
Postion of the House
Haus Sissi lies about 800m above sea level in a quiet cul-de-sac at the bottom of the Hahnenkamm, the well known Kitzbühel mountain.The old centre of town is about 600m with  the indoor pool Aquarena with 2 different pools, 2 water slides, red light cabine, tanning booth and sauna. Near the apartment you will find footpaths leading  to the Schwarzsee  (lake), the Gieringer Weiher and up to the Hahnenkamm passing by the Einsiedelei and the Seidlalm. You can also walk up to the Ehrenbachöhe on peaceful footpaths with friendly mountain restaurants such as the Hahnenkammstüberl, Melkalm, Hochbrunn, Berghaus Tyrol  and on to the Pengelstein. The legendary Hahnenkamm race on the Streif, is only  80 meters away with Ski piste 21 going directly past the house so one can ski down the practice slope to the Hahnenkamm cable car and down the practice slopes or the Streif to come home – Ski in, Ski out!  One can ski down the practice slope to the .The ‘Red Devils’ ski school .  The Horn cable-car is the other side of town with wonderful,skiing, walks views to the Hohen Tauern  and the famous alpine garden. Cross-country skiing to Aurach and Jochberg is only 300 meters away.
Kitzbühel
Kitzbühel is an old walled town in the middle of the Kitzbühel Alps. Distances: Innsbruck (90km) Salzburg (80km) Munich (120km)
It has a population of about 8,000. 800-2000m above sea level. In summer it is very popular for its golf with 4 courses in the immediate vicinity and another 19 courses in the area. Indoor and outdoor tennis courts. For swimmers there are large and small lakes ( Schwarzsee and Gieringer Wiher) and the well equipped indoor swimming pool Aquarena, 300 km footpaths, approx.750km bicycle and mountaibne bik routes, in and outdoor tennis courts.
Winter The Ski Area Kitzbühel, provides approx. 145km pistes, Snowboarder Fun park, 50km cross-country tracks, 65km winterhiking tracks, ski schools, indoor curling and skating arena. The historical heart of the town is a place full of charm with excellent shops and a museum.
Kitzbühel gives endless possibilities either to relax or take part in sport. In summer as well as winter, you will find places to relax, have fun, good meals in all the excellent restaurants, small cafes, bars, pubs, such as the famous ‘Londoner’,night clubs , discos, cinema or even try you luck at the Casino!

There are many places to visit nearby or further afield such as ELMIS magic world, Hexenwasser Soll, Triassic Park  Waidring, Deer Park Aurach,  Mine Jochberg, Emerald Search Habachtal, the Krimml  Waterfalls, the Kitzsteinhorn, the Grossglockner, the Pillersee, the Hintersteinersee, the Achensee,  the Königsee,  Berchtesgaden, Castle Tratzberg at Jenbach, the Silver Mines Schwaz, Rattenberg and Kufstein towns and Innsbruck  and Salzburg cities. It is recommended to ride through the beautiful hilly landscape with the Nostalgic Gisela Bahn and to visit the Kuhstallstube restaurant in the famous Stanglwirt.
