Installation

To install ReBRAT, extract the downloaded ZIP file (e.g. with WinZip) and launch setup.exe. Then just follow the instruction of the setup program. It is safe to accept the default values. After installing launch ReBRAT via Start - Programs - ReBRAT - ReBRAT 1.x or by right clicking a folder on the desktop or in Windows Explorer and selecting ReBRAT in the context menu.

FAQ and known bugs

• ReBRAT does not work in root folders
  Fixed in version 1.4.
  
• Uninstalling ReBRAT does not remove the ReBRAT context menu
  Fixed in version 1.4.
  If you are still using an older version you can remove the context menu by opening the registry editor (Start / Run.. and type regedit), and deleting the subkey ReBRAT in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell
  
• When opening ReBRAT via context menu, the folder name is not correct if it contains one or more spaces
  Fixed in version 1.4.
• Drag and drop does not for root folders
  It is not possible to drag a root folder or drive into the ReBRAT window. Currently there is no fix for this problem. Use context menu or select folder button instead.
• Renaming does not work on Novell servers.
  Currently there is no fix for this problem.
